Terms and Conditions:  50% Instalment Payment Option

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the 50% Instalment Payment Option offered by Enterprises University of Pretoria (EUP) for selected courses. By registering for a course and selecting this payment option, the delegate agrees to be bound by the terms outlined below.

  1. 1. Eligibility and Availability

1.1 The 50% instalment payment option is available only for selected courses as determined by EUP. 1.2 Availability may differ per course, intake, or learning mode (online or contact). 1.3 EUP reserves the right to withdraw or restrict this option at any time, without affecting existing approved instalment agreements.

  1. 2. Payment Structure

2.1 The total course fee is payable in two instalments:
  • First Instalment: 50% of the total course fee, payable before or on the course start date.
  • Second Instalment: The remaining 50%, payable within one (1) calendar month from the course start date.
2.2 This is a short‑term instalment arrangement and does not constitute a monthly payment plan.

  1. 3. Enrolment and Provisional Access

3.1 Payment of the first instalment confirms provisional enrolment and grants temporary access to:
  • Course sessions,
  • Learning platforms and materials,
  • Facilitator engagement.
3.2 Continued access to the course is strictly conditional upon settlement of the second instalment within the stipulated deadline.

  1. 4. Non‑Payment of the Second Instalment

4.1 If the second instalment is not paid in full by the due date, the delegate will be regarded as being in default of this agreement. 4.2 In the event of default:
  • The delegate will be removed from the course immediately,
  • Access to all learning platforms, sessions, assessments, materials, and communication channels will be terminated without further notice, and
  • The first instalment will be forfeited.
4.3 No refunds, credits, or reversals will be issued for the forfeited amount, regardless of attendance or partial participation.

  1. 5. Deferral to the Next Intake

5.1 Delegates removed from a course due to non‑payment of the second instalment may be considered, at EUP’s discretion, for attendance in the next available intake of the same course. 5.2 Such consideration is subject to:
  • Availability of space,
  • Compliance with any updated fees or terms applicable to the next intake, and
  • Full settlement of any outstanding amounts as determined by EUP.
5.3 Deferral is not automatic and does not guarantee placement.

  1. 6. Suspension of Services

6.1 EUP reserves the right to withhold or suspend access to:
  • Course sessions,
  • Learning materials and platforms,
  • Assessments and results,
  • Certificates of completion,
until all outstanding fees are settled in full.

  1. 7. No Refund Policy

7.1 All payments made under the 50% instalment payment option are strictly non‑refundable once the course has commenced. 7.2 This applies regardless of withdrawal, removal due to non‑payment, non‑attendance, or personal circumstances.

  1. 8. Delegate Responsibility and Commitment

8.1 By selecting the 50% instalment payment option, the delegate:
  • Confirms their ability to meet payment deadlines,
  • Accepts the financial risk associated with non‑payment,
  • Acknowledges that failure to pay the second instalment will result in immediate removal and forfeiture of the first instalment.
8.2 Failure to familiarise oneself with these Terms and Conditions will not be accepted as grounds for appeal or dispute.

  1. 9. Amendments and General Provisions

9.1 EUP reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions where necessary, in line with institutional and regulatory requirements. 9.2 These Terms and Conditions must be read together with EUP’s general enrolment, cancellation, and academic policies.

Acceptance of Terms

By enrolling in a course and selecting the 50% Instalment Payment Option, the delegate confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions in full.
