The Training Solutions division has a vacant position of an Accreditation Officer. The Accreditation Officer will be responsible for researching and identifying appropriate accrediting bodies, evaluating and ensuring compliance with accreditation criteria, compiling and submitting documentation, facilitating assessments and site visits, addressing recommendations and compliance, sustaining communication and monitoring, maintaining comprehensive records, updating internal systems, handling accreditation queries and executing periodic renewal of accreditation status.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications and experience:
• Bachelor’s degree
• At least 2 years of experience in accreditation or related fields in the Higher Education Sector or Short Courses domain.

• Knowledge of accreditation criteria and standards
• Understanding of the SETA and QCTO landscape
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Quality assurance for SETA Projects

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Support the identification and engagement of relevant accreditation and quality assurance bodies aligned with organisational and programme requirements.
• Coordinate and administer accreditation applications, renewals, submissions, documentation and related correspondence to ensure compliance with applicable requirements and timelines.
• Provide administrative and logistical support for accreditation site visits, monitoring activities and audits, including preparation and coordination of required documentation and records.
• • Coordinate and administer SETA-related processes, submissions, documentation, registration and compliance requirements, ensuring that all activities are completed accurately and within prescribed deadlines.
