Enterprises University of Pretoria (Pty) LTD is the commercial hub that manages and implements business activities of the University of Pretoria (UP). Wholly-owned by the University, the company manages and executes the commercial research and training activities of the University.
The Training Solutions division has a vacant position of a Senior Business Developer. The Senior Business Developer is required to actively explore and secure sales through outbound sales activities and business development in the Training Solutions portfolio, focusing on customised solutions. This includes liaison with internal and external clients, industry organisations and associations, contract management, overseeing of administration, contractual obligations, relevant risk management, corporate governance on contracts, budgets and timing, drafting proposals, submissions of bids/tenders, registration as supplier, communication and reporting to all parties.

| MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS |
| Education and qualifications: A tertiary qualification of atleast 3 years in duration/ Degree, preferably in the areas of Business Management/Commerce/Marketing (NQF 6).4 years of experience in Business Development/Sales/Marketing/Consulting. 2 years of experience in a Training environment4 years of experience in Project and Contract management as in Project Finance. 4 years of experience in tenders, quotations, proposals and reporting. Valid driver’s license. South African citizen. Knowledge, skills and experience: Operating in high pressure target driven environment.Exceptional information management capabilities. Sound financial understanding. Good interpersonal and stakeholder relations skills. Advanced proficiency in MS Office and CRM. |
| DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES |
| The compilation, submission and conversion of customised training solutions. Marketing solutions and services to diverse client base, including the public and private sector as well as international clients. UP stakeholders engagement. Build own network of knowledge experts and key contacts across industries. Prepare tenders for submission covering the total value chain related to each submission. The compilation, submission and conversion of Tenders. Development of Business Intelligence (BI) and to transform the BI into sound solutions and services. |
