Enterprises University of Pretoria (Pty) Ltd has a vacancy for a Desktop Technician. The successful candidate will provide a full range of Technical and Desktop support to all staff. This will occur through the diligent execution of duties such as administration and implementation of maintenance and upgrade projects, training of users, IT asset administration, support to seniors and the like.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education and qualifications:
• A+, N+
• MCDST or relevant industry certification will be an added advantage
Knowledge, skills and experience:
• 3-4 years’ experience working with systems (Windows Operating System, Microsoft Office, desktop/networked PC’s, printers)
• 3-4 years’ experience in Help desk and user support (Troubleshooting Tier 1 and 2)
• Good interpersonal skills
• Problem solving
• Diligent
• Methodical
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Ensure all PC hardware and printers are in 100% working condition
• Ensure employee satisfaction through effective delivery of user/desktop support
• Maintain an optimal user computing environment
• Provide complete user training
• Provide network and server support
• IT assets control and administration
• IT support for affiliated entities
