Enterprises University of Pretoria (Pty) LTD is the commercial hub that manages and implements business activities of the University of Pretoria (UP). Wholly-owned by the University, the company manages and executes the commercial research and training activities of the University.

The Training Solutions division has a vacant position of a Programme Manager. This Programme Manager will be responsible for the management of all activities associated with the roll-out of a portfolio of Sales Hub to the value of a specific target amount (including open courses and client specific interventions) including the planning, organizing and controlling of course activities to meet contractual obligations and quality customer service standards.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education and qualifications:
• Formal qualification, 3 years degree preferably in the areas of Operations Management or Business Management/Administration
• Valid driver’s license.
• South African citizen.

Knowledge, skills and experience:
• 5 years project or operations management experience
• 2 years supervisory experience.
• Sales and marketing experience in a Call Centre
• Financial and Business Acumen
• Advanced writing and verbal communication skills in atleast 2 official languages.
• Client relations
• Strong process orientation
• Attention to detail
• Emotional intelligence
• Ability to perform under pressure

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales Hub
• Develop and implement strategies to drive sales of open enrolment courses, ensuring revenue growth
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities by building strong relationships with corporate clients and industry stakeholders
• Achieve set sales targets by actively promoting training solutions ad securing new clients
• Observe market trends and analyse competitor activities to contribute to sales and marketing strategies.
• Work closely  with the marketing team to enhance the visibility of training programmes

Process Control
• Ensure the seamless execution of training programmes, including scheduling, logistics and resource allocation
• Implement operational efficiencies to improve service delivery and meet training targets

Financial Control
• Develop and manage budgets for training programmes, ensuring financial targets are met
• Monitor cost effectiveness and profitability of training courses

Special projects
• Lead initiatives aimed at expanding training solutions and improving programme offerings
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on strategic projects

Revenue Generation
• Develop pricing strategies and identify revenue growth opportunities
• Track sales performance and adjust strategies to achieve financial objectives
• Negotiate contracts and service level agreements with clients
